Equipment in all units


The barns and byres have been equipped with practicality and aesthetics in mind, ensuring your self- catering experience feels easy and luxurious. The aim was to include everything you might need or expect and hopefully more!
All kitchens have a comprehensive range of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and equipment including a food processor/mixer and bread maker. If your holiday is a rare chance for home baking or you love to wake up to the smell of fresh bread, the things you need should be here!
For comfort and convenience all bedding (except cot bedding/towels) is installed.
For your safety every bathroom has a bath mat and each unit, a non-slip mat.
All guests will be supplied with 1 hand and 1 bath towel (you may want to bring your own beach/swimming towels, please bring baby towels). 
For kitchen use 4 tea towels are provided.
If your stay lasts longer than a week you may request a fresh supply of linens at no extra cost.
We have a range of equipment on site that may be of use to those with additional needs e.g., shower seats and a vibrating pillow pad for the fire alarm.
Also, things that may be of use to younger guests e.g. cots, highchairs, baby bath, potty and child toilet seat. Please contact us at Sojourn North, well in advance of your visit, to let us know what you need; we can reserve the item and put it in place for your stay.
In anticipation of your domestic needs you will receive a dishcloth, J cloth, duster and scourer. There will be a supply of liquid soap, washing up liquid, dish washing tablets, fabric conditioner, biological and non-biological washing powder, kitchen roll, toilet roll, tissues, bin liners, foil, cling film, sandwich bags, air freshener, cleaning spray, cleaning liquid, polish, toilet cleaner and toilet wipes. All units have cleaning tools including a vacuum and for laundry; an iron, ironing board and airing rack.
There is free wi-fi amplified throughout the complex, so you can plan days out or check your e-mails.
On arrival, a welcome pack with a few essentials – tea bags, instant coffee, long life milk, apple juice and biscuits; should help you recover from the journey, relax and revive. A supply of sugar, salt and pepper are also in place. Once you’ve settled in you may want to enjoy the chocolate and 'wine' waiting for you; or even put some bread on to bake with the mix provided!
